Job Summary/Company :
Sparks Group has partnered with a Global Aviation organization with over 30 years providing comprehensive aircraft inventory support for airlines, MROs, OEMs, and distributors. They provide a global reach serving customers' parts and inventory needs across 140+ countries. seeking an Aviation Quality Inspector with 1 year of Aviation parts inspection Apply Now!
Responsibilities :
Perform visual inspections of incoming and outgoing parts and materials. Inspect and identify material and related documentation as prescribed by the purchase/repair order, highlighting any non-conformance or omission. Perform review of physical attributes, quantity, and records for release. Operate forklifts as required to retrieve material from storage racks that have either been sold or to store material that will be sold in the future. Enter, verify, and validate the accuracy of data input into the database. Comply with ESD (electrostatic discharge) requirements when receiving ESD material. Work with Quality Assurance department in continuous improvement projects. Pack & Ship merchandise according to established procedures. Ensure all parts are packaged properly, so no damage occurs during shipping. Check customer requirements or
ATA SPEC 300
for special packaging sequence. Process air waybills and related shipping documentation and check for accuracy. Schedule pickups as required. Ensure all documentation is packaged with parts before shipping. Image all documents and pictures pertaining to each sales order into our system. Communicating with the supervisor/manager regarding shipping/inspection related issues.
Qualifications/Background Profile :
Focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Flexible, responsive, and enthusiastic. Able to cope well under pressure and resolve issues and problems using their own initiative. Able to work effectively to tight deadlines and targets. Able to work in a fast-moving environment where a pro-active, can-do attitude is needed to achieve goals. Knowledge of MS Office Suite or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to liaise with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated professional style. Meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements, including overtime as required. Must be self-motivated. Demonstrates pride in own work. Ability to perform light to moderate lifting. Be able to operate warehouse vehicles and material handling equipment. Can work in a team environment High School Graduate or GED- Required. Minimum 1 year processing aviation surplus parts is preferred. Minimum 1 year job related experience is helpful. ISO and/or AS Quality Standard knowledge- a Plus. Experience with domestic and international regulations. Knowledge of carrier computer systems such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. Haz Mat training is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus. Knowledge of computer hardware and associated software (i.e., inventory management, Ship station and MS Office) #LI-DA2 - This job is In-Person.
