Job Description

Quality Control Technician II Confidential Port Orange, FL 32127 Full-time Full-time Seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician II to join our growing team. This mid-level quality assurance role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience inspecting electrical harnesses and mechanical assemblies who are ready to contribute to continuous improvement and help uphold industry standards.
What You'll Do:
Electrical Harness Quality Inspection Inspect complex harnesses with multiple connectors or branches. Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing. Conduct visual inspections to
IPC/WHMA-A-620C
Class 2/3 standards. Verify crimp heights, solder quality, wire routing, and heat shrink. Mechanical Assembly Inspection Inspect for fit, finish, torque specs, and dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches. Evaluate electro-mechanical assemblies and inspect critical-to-function components with added scrutiny. Documentation & Quality Records Complete QC checklists, travelers, and inspection documentation accurately. Report nonconformances and support root cause and containment efforts. Confirm calibration status of measurement tools and verify traveler details. Team Support & Process Improvement Mentor junior QC technicians and demonstrate inspection techniques. Support training on workmanship standards and procedures. Provide quality feedback to engineering and production teams. Participate in audits.
What We're Looking For:
3-5 years of QA/QC experience in electrical or mechanical manufacturing. Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620C and
ISO 9001.
Strong understanding of drawings, specs, and inspection best practices. Proficiency with test tools, hand tools, and quality documentation. Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
