Job Description

Chris-Craft, a leader in luxury boat manufacturing, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician, for our Lamination department, to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality in our world-renowned boats. Do:
Inspect all facets of the boat manufacturing process, ensuring defects are identified and corrected before moving to the next stage. Conduct tests and inspections on raw materials using designated test labs and equipment. Work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with internal quality policies and industry regulations. Develop and document measurable quality standards for acceptance. Maintain safety and reliability at the boat dock and fueling station. Provide coaching on quality standards and best practices in boat building. Ensure accurate data input into the AIMSCO quality system and maintain inspection records. Track Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and apply them to the appropriate hull identification numbers (HINs). Support administrative tasks related to production and quality assurance.What You Bring:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in Quality Assurance, preferably in the marine industry.Education:
High school diploma required; college degree a plus.NMMA/ABYC
certification preferred.Skills:
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of fiberglass, gel coat application, painting, and finishing processes. Ability to interpret and maintain quality standards and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management (AIMSCO). Mechanical skills and ability to operate testing equipment.
