Job Description

  • Quality Technician
  • Position Summary
  • The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting materials and products to ensure conformance to customer and internal specifications. This role works closely with production and quality teams to identify and resolve quality, production, and efficiency issues in a timely manner.

  • Up to 4 weeks +
  • Training Pay:
  • $ 22.00/hour +
  • Post-Training Shift:
  • 2nd Shift +
  • Hours:
  • 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM +
  • Pay:
  • $22.00/hour + $0.75 shift differential +
  • Total Pay:
  • $ 22.75/hour
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • + Collect product samples at scheduled intervals from assigned machines + Use measuring tools, gauges, and inspection equipment to verify product dimensions per customer control plans + Review non-conforming samples with the Shift Supervisor + Verify products meet Quality Instruction Sheets and Inspection Plans + Accurately document measurements, quality records, and cycle times + Communicate effectively with Shift Supervisors, Process Technicians, and Quality team members + Ensure proper documentation is available at each machine and required QA reports are reviewed and signed + Contain and isolate suspect or rejected products using appropriate hold tags + Complete all required paperwork during and at the end of each shift + Maintain a clean, organized QA lab environment + Participate in weekly QA meetings with shift personnel •Other Duties•+ This job description reflects the general nature of the work.

  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Knowledge & Skills
  • + Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Basic understanding of part drawings + Ability to complete training on quality tools and measurement equipment
  • Abilities
  • + Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, lift, and reach throughout the shift + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Reliable attendance and adherence to company policies + Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required + Ability to pass a required drug screening
  • Education & Experience
  • + High School Diploma or
GED + 3-6
months of related experience or training preferred
  • Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • + Regularly lift up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 40 lbs + Stand for the duration of the shift + Vision correctable to 20/20, including close vision and depth perception + No uncorrectable hearing impairment + Full use of both hands
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • + Gloves required when handling samples + Safety glasses required on the production floor
  • Work Environment
  • + Work is primarily performed in a QA lab with frequent visits to the production floor or clean room + Clean room work requires PPE, including gloves, hair nets, beard nets (if applicable), and lab coats
  • Pay Details:
  • $22.
