Inspector - Afternoon shift

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc., in Titusville, PA produces customized shapes primarily for original equipment manufacturers that are cold rolled from purchased coiled strip, flat bar or extruded bar at its Precision Rolled Products department and as well as operates three vacuum-arc remelting furnaces. INSPECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Schedules:

3 pm - 11 pm / Monday -

Friday Wage:

$19.00 per hour Prior steel mill or industrial furnace experience (preferred) Tow motor and crane experience (required) Insurance Benefits start 1st day of employment

Verifies all bars in order comply with customer requirements for length, widths, thickness and surface finish and hardness. Visually inspects bars for compliance with Quality Workmanship Standards QS-038. Properly marks individual identification on each bar. Properly records all information on the Final Dimensional Report Form. Able to read and understand work instructions. Assists shipper as required. Able to stand for long periods of time.

measuring tape, micrometers, profilometer, air polisher, scale, no-touch tools, crane, tow motor.
