Job Title:
Hardware Parts Tester Location:
Melbourne, FL (Suntree area)
Shift:
Mon to Fri from 8a to 5p
Pay:
$25.00/hr
Required:
A minimum of one-year experience evaluating physical electronic devices, circuit boards, and/or components to ensure they meet quality, reliability, and performance standards. Must live a commutable distance from our Melbourne, FL facility. Ess ential
Duties & Responsibilities Execute Tests:
Run functional, stress, and reliability tests on physical hardware components.
Troubleshoot Defects:
Identify hardware faults, perform root cause analysis, and document failures.
Update & Program:
Ability to update and program parts as needed.
Use Lab Equipment:
Operate specialized tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.
Document Results:
Write clear test reports and maintain records of test plans and metrics. Sk ill s &
Attributes Technical Knowledge:
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Tool Proficiency:
Experience with lab hardware and basic scripting or automation tools
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose complex electronic or mechanical issues. Team-oriented personality. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively during periods of high activity and with varying personality styles and tasks. Ability to maintain effectiveness during procedure/organization changes and when dealing with people of various styles or backgrounds. Ability to be a self-starter who manages time effectively and completes tasks efficiently without waiting for instructions. Aptitude to adapt oral/written communication style to fit different personalities. Ability to multi-task. Proven ability to operate under pressure. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
