Job Description

Ad-Vance Talent Solutions is currently hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a growing manufacturing company in Winter Park, FL. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in quality inspection, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background and a commitment to ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards.
Quality Control Inspector Location:
Winter Park, FL Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Perform receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical components and assemblies. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Read, interpret, and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation. Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, surface plates, and optical comparators. Identify and document non-conforming materials, workmanship issues, and dimensional discrepancies. Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation. Review certifications and supporting documentation to ensure customer requirements are met. Assist with the disposition and control of non-conforming products. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with company quality standards. Follow all safety policies and contribute to a clean, organized work environment. Participate in cross-training and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills. Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting. Knowledge of
GD&T, ISO
9001, AS9100, and AQL sampling methods preferred. CMM experience and aerospace manufacturing experience are a plus. Apply today to join a team committed to quality, precision, and continuous improvement.
