Job Description

Global leader in aerospace manufacturing is looking for a qualified CMM Programmer to join their team in Athens, Georgia.
Full Responsibilities:
Programs and operates a CMM(s); revises programs to maximize effectiveness and efficiency Investigates and collaborates with cross-functional team members to resolve manufacturing-related non-conformances or other concerns Initiates nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements Completes First Article Inspections to AS9102 and company/contractual requirements Continually strives to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiency by recommending and supporting the implementation of process improvements Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external personnel to identify root causes, troubleshoot and address errors and trends, and negotiate resolution of non-conforming parts and necessary re-work or re-inspection Regular attendance on-site at the workplace is required
Requirements:
High school diplomas/GED. Required. 4-year technical degree or equivalent education/experience, Preferred 5 years of CMM programming experience in PC-DMIS, Required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, planning and engineering documents, quality standards, customer specifications, and other technical design standards. Required. Experience reading precision measuring instrumentation such as mics, calipers, height gauges, tape measures, and other similar devices. Required. 3 years of technical CNC machining experience. Preferred. Experience in conducting Lean Manufacturing exercises and 6 Sigma projects. Preferred. Knowledge of AS9100 and FAA requirements. Preferred. ERP experience. Preferred #ST101
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
