Quality Inspector - Athens, GA / nights Mon-Fri (4pm-2am) // up to $31 Job Summary Global leader in aerospace manufacturing is looking for qualified Quality Inspector to join their team in
Athens, Georgia Full Responsibilities:
Determines and utilizes appropriate inspection methods and instruments (micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, radius gauges, calipers, etc.) to complete in-process and final inspection of machined aerospace parts and assemblies, including simple to moderate layouts and setups on a surface plate Initiates nonconformance records and disposition of parts not meeting requirements Continually strives to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiency by recommending and supporting the implementation of process improvements Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external personnel to identify root causes, troubleshoot and address errors and trends, and negotiate resolution of non-conforming parts and necessary re-work or re-inspection Completes other duties as required Regular attendance on-site at the workplace is required
Requirements:
A high School Diploma or GED equivalent. Required. Associate degree or similar post-secondary or vocational training in a related field. Preferred. 6 months of experience in inspection for machined parts and/or assemblies. Required 1 year of experience as a CMM operator. Required. 1 year experience utilizing PC-DMIS. Required. 1 year experience in reading blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Preferred. #ST101
Pay:
$27.50 - $31.00 per hour
