We currently manufacture flavored powders and capsules but it is ourflavors and ability to work with our customers that has helped set us apart in a competitive industry. We are looking for aQuality Control Inspectorto join our team and be a contributing part of our tremendous growth! Essential duties & responsibilities- Responsibilities include but are not limited to QC inspections and testing. Routine quality check of samples and production linesProduction documentation preparation and Document controlProduct spec development and revisionsRoot cause analysis and corrective actions. Monitors and follows up on corrective actions to ensure successful implementation and notify responsible personnel when corrective actions are delinquentMaintain paper and electronic recordsMaintain Internal audit systemPrepare reports and present results to management as and when requiredMaintain organized and efficient work flow and demonstrate high degree of accuracyProvide technical support to Operations and ManagementAble to prioritize and complete on-going tasks assigned by QA ManagerWork collaboratively and safely in production and lab environmentLab organization
Qualification:
Science background. Food science, Nutrition science, Pharmacy or manufacturing background is a BIG PLUSBasic knowledge about sample collection, lab sampling, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP, cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), good documentation, attention to detailsDemonstrated proficiency in writing and composition skills requiredBasic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data. Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Word and Excel requiredAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Required:
Excellent attendance and reliability Requirements Must be able to perform repetitive movements of bending, twisting, pumping, lifting, and pushing including picking up 25 kg (55 pounds) constantly throughout the day. Must be able to tolerate standing for long periods of time.

Must be able to tolerate heat and or cold variationsMust be able to tolerate sitting for possibly extended periods of time and using a computer and magnifying glass to view small print Must be attentive and alert to cautions of forklift and other personnel walking in the Quarantine Cage area.
