Job Overview The AI Vision Operator I (VOP1) performs first-level reviews of AI-generated inspection images from ATIS (Crack Vision) and AXIS (X-Ray) systems to determine whether battery cells meet approved assembly inspection criteria. This position plays an important role in protecting product quality, preventing defect escapes, and reducing unnecessary scrap through accurate and consistent image evaluation. This position primarily performs computer-based image inspection activities but may also require presence in production area to support operational needs. The role requires adherence to all company safety, quality, and confidentiality requirements. Role and Responsibilities Perform first-level verification of AI-classified NG images using ATIS and AXIS systems.

Distinguish actual defects, acceptable variations, false rejects, and potential false accepts.

Apply approved inspection standards consistently and accurately.

Record inspection results, defect categories. and supporting comments in applicable systems.

Escalate unclear images, unfamiliar defect patterns, or safety-related concerns to the appropriate team.

Report missing images, duplicate records, and system issues promptly.

Follow all applicable safety, quality, information security, and standardized work requirements.

Support schedule flexibility, overtime, or holiday coverage when required to meet operational needs. Skill and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive inspection activities.

Basic computer and data entry skills.

Ability to read and follow inspection criteria and work instructions.

Effective communication skills and willingness to escalate uncertain situations rather than make assumptions. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing, Assembly, Quality Control, or Visual Inspection experience.

Battery or Automotive Manufacturing Experience.

Experience using ATIS, AXIS, MES, GQMS, or similar manufacturing systems.

Basic Microsoft Office Skills. Physical Requirements Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed image inspections or a computer screen for periods of up to two hours at a time.

Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday and walk throughout the manufacturing facility as required.
