Job Description:

To properly operate equipment from a safety, quality, and efficient perspective, while maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment, wearing all proper PPE, and following OSHA guidelines. Read the box weight scale, adjust the packet count and weight of the box to specification. Verify proper weight of finished boxed product according to box product weight specifications. Monitor the quality of the finished product in a case. Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards, rules, regulations, and practices of the facility. Document completed work as required by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Ability to use mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in accordance with production paperwork . Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to walk and stand for 6+ hours, constant bending forward 28 inches, frequent squat and lift motions, ability to lift 51-100 lbs. from waist to shoulder height.

Work Environment:

Constantly work in damp, wet, humid, and slippery environments. Constantly work near moving equipment with fumes or airborne debris. Constantly work near toxic or caustic chemicals. Constantly work in extreme heat/cold. Constantly work in high noise levels requiring hearing protection.
