Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with Manual Milling experience . This role involves working with metal components using a variety of machines and tools, including "MANUAL" milling machines, pem presses, CNC bandsaws, and hand tools. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, precision machining experience, and the ability to read technical drawings. Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual milling machines, drill press, sheet metal rolling machine, pem press, CNC bandsaws, and other manual fabricating machines.
- Measure, cut, drill, and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 4+ years experience in operating the manual metal fabrication equipment (recently).
- Proficiency in operating milling machines, bandsaws, pem press, drill press, sheet metal rolling machines and other.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience Needed:
- Manual machining (Not CNC) Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods.
