MEDX).Job DescriptionOur manufacturing site in Flowery Branch Georgia is actively searching a Sr. Quality Technician. This position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and administration of the quality management system and ensuring products are manufactured per quality and regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Main accountabilities and tasksPerform product and component releases following batch record review.

Support quality control investigations and assist in remediation strategies, responses, and deliverables.

May participate in "on the floor" audits of production personnel to ensure adherence to procedures and training effectiveness.

Conducts sampling, product testing, and visual inspection of components and/or finished goods; identifies nonconformances, if any, and ensures proper containment as requiredCompletes accurate, timely, and legible documentation of all inspection/testing dataMay participates in weekly production walk-throughs to ensure quality complianceEngage in Safety, Quality, Production, and Plant related programs as required (Safety Observations, Meetings, Gembas, etc.)Participates in continuous improvement objectives to assure compliance with regulationsPerforms quality documentation activities, including the creation, revision, and control of Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)Performs other duties as assigned by managementMaintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes for medmix USAMaintains quality records procedure and coordinates non-conformance reportingCompiles, analyzes, and interprets statistical data related to quality operationsMay be required to cover position on their assigned shift due to absences for vacations, leave, etc.

Perform all other miscellaneous duties as appropriately directed by Quality Management or designateTechnical aptitude to understand and operate/execute test method's and laboratory test equipment.
QualificationsWork Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a regulated workplace preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent with education and experience.
Other:
Experience leading teams and 1-3 years in a quality-related role preferred.

Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database software.

Ability to learn quickly and maintain Quality Assurance metrics.

Knowledge of ISO standards or the ability to quickly learn and apply them for system compliance.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work accurately, independently, and with minimal supervision.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing projects to completion within established deadlines.

Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.

Ability to work collaboratively with subordinates, peers, and leadership across all departments.
