Job Description:
Organizational Relationship:
This position reports directly to the
Loonie Supervisor Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Ability to apply and interpret statistical data
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
  • Must be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to actively initiate, lead, and participate in problem solving activities
  • Must be able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance
  • Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
  • Two years' experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
Description of Duties:
  • Inspect damaged or defective materials and products
  • Document quality or inventory issues in tracking systems
  • Separate and label non-conforming inventory
  • Work with Quality, Production, Shipping, and Receiving teams
  • Investigate root causes of material defects or shortages.
  • Coordinate rework, returns, scrap, or replacement processes.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.
  • Communicate issues to supervisors and leadership.
  • Help reduce waste and improve inventory and leadership.
