Job Description:
Organizational Relationship:
This position reports directly to theLoonie Supervisor Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Ability to apply and interpret statistical data
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
- Must be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have the ability to actively initiate, lead, and participate in problem solving activities
- Must be able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance
- Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
- Two years' experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
Description of Duties:
- Inspect damaged or defective materials and products
- Document quality or inventory issues in tracking systems
- Separate and label non-conforming inventory
- Work with Quality, Production, Shipping, and Receiving teams
- Investigate root causes of material defects or shortages.
- Coordinate rework, returns, scrap, or replacement processes.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.
- Communicate issues to supervisors and leadership.
- Help reduce waste and improve inventory and leadership.
