Inbound Inspector-Warehouse Services Lithia Springs

Job Summary:
The Inbound Inspector is responsible for the initial physical evaluation and verification of all incoming assets. This role ensures that all materials entering the hub meet strict acceptance criteria by verifying labels, inspecting packaging, validating components against Bill of Materials (BOM), and documenting all findings in the system.
Key Responsibilities:
Pallet & Receiving Inspection:
Conduct comprehensive inbound pallet inspections and evaluate the physical condition of packaging.
Verification & Labeling:
Verify asset labeling, including Global Product Numbers (GPN), Serial Numbers (S/N), and Country of Origin (COO).
BOM Validation:
Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and component completeness to ensure received shipments match documentation.
Data Entry & Documentation:
Identify damages or discrepancies, document findings accurately, and update work orders in the proprietary tracking system (ProcureAnt).
Escalation:
Promptly escalate noncompliant shipments or inventory discrepancies to the Hub Lead/Supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus. 1-2 years of experience in receiving, quality inspection, or inbound logistics. High attention to detail with the ability to identify micro-damages and labeling mismatches. Basic computer literacy for data entry into inventory tracking systems. Ability to follow structured QA checklists and visual reference guides (Redbook).
