THIS IS A ROTATING SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES The Inspector Operator is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and readiness of greige fabric prior to downstream manufacturing and customer delivery. The associate also assists with materials handling, housekeeping, and inspection-area support to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with Milliken standards. Inspect greige fabric to identify defects, inconsistencies, or off-quality conditions according to established quality specifications. Perform re-inspection of greige fabric as required to confirm product quality and grading accuracy. Re-roll greige fabric to ensure proper handling, storage, and workflow efficiency. Verify and record greige fabric yardage accurately. Complete all inspection reporting paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure production and inspection records are maintained according to Milliken quality and documentation standards. Maintain inspection printers and ensure continuous availability for reporting needs Communicate promptly with the weave room regarding any potential off-quality fabric that may still be running. Notify Production Control Administration when shell rolls require replenishment to prevent production delays. Collaborate effectively with packers and other team members to support smooth material flow and resolve issues as they arise Pack fabric rolls when needed to assist packers and help clear conveyor belts. Empty inspection waste buggies and ensure proper disposal of waste materials. Perform additional inspection area support duties as required to meet operational needs Support warehouse as needed by greeting drivers when warehouse associate is unavailable

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED Must be able to work a flexible shift Manufacturing or textile experience preferred but not required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Familiarity with greige fabric, quality inspection processes, or production environments Basic recordkeeping and documentation skills Ability to cover other shifts as needed Strong attention to detail and ability to identify fabric defects

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described represent those required to successfully perform this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Standing or walking for up to 12 hours or more per shift. Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing or seated) during equipment operation. Ability to move/traverse the production floor, including accessing creel areas, equipment, and materials. Ability to lift and carry production materials (spools, bobbins, resin containers, waste packages), typically up to 50 lbs. Stooping, bending, reaching overhead, and occasional ladder/platform climbing. Ability to operate machine controls, touchscreens, tools, and adjustments requiring fine motor skills. Ability to sustain repetitive motions during extended production runs. Ability to visually inspect products, monitor displays, and identify non‑conforming conditions. Ability to tolerate heat, temperature variations, and abnormal environmental conditions typical of manufacturing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily on the production floor, near moving machinery and ongoing process lines. Noise levels vary; hearing protection may be required. Exposure to fibers, lint, dust, and particulates typical of textile operations. Exposure to heat from extrusion zones and fluctuating seasonal temperatures. Work may involve tight/confined areas, ladder use, and navigating around machinery. Required use of
