Quality Lab Technician Job Summary:

Join our team as a Laboratory Technician where you will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts. Ensure shipment samples and test data are collected and stored. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) guidelines.
• Assist in research development projects by preparing samples, running experiments, and recording data accurately.
• Perform lab techniques by following written SOPs.
• Manage reporting, monitoring, resources, and laboratory.
• Work closely with team members to provide effective solutions to support business and quality objectives
• Facilitate effective communication across internal departments by trending and reporting data
• Establish and improve procedures and processes by addressing issues and risks
• Ensure the lab maintains a calibration program for testing equipment that affect quality results
• Ensure proper working order of all lab equipment
• Keep the lab well stocked with supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the lab
• Ensure all testing and defining test frequencies for production, bagging, and shipping areas.
• Data entry for all quality system data and statistical analysis of data.
• Assist in Root Cause investigation of all customer complaints.
• Apply mathematical skills to analyze data and interpret results effectively.

Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment with knowledge of GLP and CGMPs.
• Experience with particle analyzers, screen decks, raw and milled materials preferred.
• Minerals processing experience a plus.
• Effective data trending, document control, and technical bench skills
• Strong problem-solving, training, team building, and mentoring abilities.
• Familiar with Root Cause Analysis preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing a plus.
• Keen attention to detail

Education:

• Minimum 2 years in a quality control field.
