Quality Lab Technician Job Summary:
Join our team as a Laboratory Technician where you will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts. Ensure shipment samples and test data are collected and stored. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) guidelines.
- Assist in research development projects by preparing samples, running experiments, and recording data accurately.
- Perform lab techniques by following written SOPs.
- Manage reporting, monitoring, resources, and laboratory.
- Work closely with team members to provide effective solutions to support business and quality objectives
- Facilitate effective communication across internal departments by trending and reporting data
- Establish and improve procedures and processes by addressing issues and risks
- Ensure the lab maintains a calibration program for testing equipment that affect quality results
- Ensure proper working order of all lab equipment
- Keep the lab well stocked with supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and security of the lab
- Ensure all testing and defining test frequencies for production, bagging, and shipping areas.
- Data entry for all quality system data and statistical analysis of data.
- Assist in Root Cause investigation of all customer complaints.
- Apply mathematical skills to analyze data and interpret results effectively.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment with knowledge of GLP and CGMPs.
- Experience with particle analyzers, screen decks, raw and milled materials preferred.
- Minerals processing experience a plus.
- Effective data trending, document control, and technical bench skills
- Strong problem-solving, training, team building, and mentoring abilities.
- Familiar with Root Cause Analysis preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing a plus.
- Keen attention to detail
Education:
- Minimum 2 years in a quality control field.
Job Type:
Full-time Expected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:
2- 12 Hour Shifts. 3
- 6 Hour Shifts.
