Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspection and Quality Assurance Perform component-level inspection of complex PCB assemblies using microscopes and visual inspection techniques. Inspect PCB assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment. Identify and document assembly defects in accordance with
IPC-A-610
standards and customer specifications. Inspect customer-returned PCBAs (RMA) and communicate findings to Production and Quality Management. Perform Incoming Inspection, In-Process Quality (IPQ), and Final Quality Assurance (FQA) inspections as required. Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 requirements. Verify proper routing and disposition of inspected assemblies. Perform through-hole and surface mount (SMT/SMD) touch-up and rework as needed. Quality Systems and Compliance Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, audit documentation, and rework records. Perform internal audits in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Support compliance with
ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO
13485, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Monitor quality systems and procedures to measure effectiveness and drive customer satisfaction. Ensure manufacturing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Maintain and manage QT9 quality management activities and documentation. Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities. Report quality deviations and nonconformances to the QA Manager and Operations team. Continuous Improvement Analyze data, documentation, and processes to identify quality issues, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Production, and customers to resolve quality concerns. Support investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and compliance. Participate in departmental and company initiatives focused on quality and operational excellence. Additional Responsibilities Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and ESD requirements. Support QMS certification activities and audits. Participate in team development and ongoing quality training. Assist other manufacturing areas as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing. Familiarity with
IPC-A-610
standards. Ability to work under a microscope for 6-8 hours daily. Knowledge of electronic components, soldering standards, inspection techniques, and ESD awareness. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Email, Internet). Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality documentation. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
IPC-A-610
Certification. AS9100 and/or
ISO 9001
Lead Auditor Certification. 3-5 years of quality experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Experience with AOI inspection systems. Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements. Experience with QT9 and ERP systems. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or
ISO 13485
quality management systems.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
