In this energetic position, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying manufacturing processes to uphold rigorous quality systems. Your keen analysis skills and attention to detail will help drive continuous improvement, ensuring our products meet all regulatory and customer expectations. Duties Validates quality processes by measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification. On the job training is received in specialized areas Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE Other research or related activities as deemed necessary Availability to work overtime as required Daily 5S activities Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, risk assessment and dimensional layouts. Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring manufacturing processes, inspecting purchased material and finished goods, enforcing company policies and procedures, and performing process audits to ensure that quality processes are not deviated. Work in a fast-paced environment pulling samples from production floor, in process, first piece, last piece inspection, annual validations and capability as needed. Perform multiple quality tests. Measure samples and validate products due to process, tool or equipment modifications Accurately compiled statistical data Construct charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel as needed Perform process capability analyses Prepare reports on testing results Define problems and report all issues with material to management for analysis and disposition Work may require individuals to enter plant areas where performance factors such as: heat, humidity, noise, lifting of materials and working around equipment will be encountered Experience Reading technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). CMM programming and operation Laser scanner programming and operation Arm scanner programming and operation Polyworks software programming EDAS software programming SAP QM Module preferable Microsoft Office Applications Skill in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Familiarity with injection molding processes and quality standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other general computer applications is necessary. Skills Knowledge of Metrology Attention to detail is a must Ability to follow directions carefully Ability to work quickly and accurately Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to work with minimum supervision Conscientious, independent and structured way of working Assertiveness and organizational skills Good written and oral communication skills Customer contact, when required Teamwork 5
