Quality Control Inspector

Local company in White, GA is looking for an experienced Quality control inspector to join their team. Requirements include, High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in Quality Control, manufacturing, or a related field, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, Knowledge of basic inspection tools and quality equipment, including calibration requirements, Working knowledge of 5S/6S and OSHA safety standards, Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel. $19 - $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4:30

High SchoolResponsibilities Inspect incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished products to ensure conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols (AWS & ISO standards) Perform dimensional checks using variable and attribute measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, tape measures, angle finders) Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) for new or revised products Document inspection results, complete QC checklists, and upload records into the Quality Management System (QMS) Support Quality Engineers, Team Leads, and Supervisors with quality‑related activities and investigations Identify non‑conformances, adopt an investigative mindset to detect anomalies, and report issues promptly Assist with training newly hired QC Inspectors as needed The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 45lbsstanding for 9 hours at one timeSkillsProduct InspectionProduction ControlInspectionQuality ControlQuality AssuranceQualificationsYears of experience: 4 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
