Requirements/Qualifications Hold a current mechanic certificate with A&P ratings, each of which is currently effective. A minimum of 3 years is preferred, working on types of aircraft the company operates. Be familiar with auditing procedures, SMS policies and all other sources of auditing material and have completed company auditor training. Possess a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 5, 65, 121, the General Maintenance Manual and the SIEM. Have completed company Indoctrination training. Duties/Responsibilities Performs audits, writes discrepancies of those faults found which require corrective action. Advises the Chief Inspector of any major problems found while performing audits. Records audits and inspection functions complied with on applicable forms. Responsible for monitoring all required CASS audits and other documents used in carrying out auditing duties. Ensures the proper completion of all required audits assigned to him/her in a timely manner by the Chief Inspector. Reviews all audit findings with the Chief Inspector or the DOM as applicable. Performs other duties as directed by Chief Inspector
