JOB OVERVIEW
The Quality Specialist-Electrical will be responsible for performing enclosure and electrical inspections of generator and electrical enclosures. This includes supervising third party/customer inspections and delegating tasks as needed. This position will assist with the supervision of shipping necessary enclosure parts on an as needed basis.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
(includes but not limited to) Work with panel boards, transformers and distribution equipment. Exhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects. Sign off on enclosure and electrical inspection forms. Assist with shipping enclosures, tanks, and parts. Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to constructive feedback. Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices. Ability to manage multiple projects to include communication with other Robinson employees to assist with the progress of all projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
high school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
minimum 2 - 3 years commercial/industrial experience preferred in addition to experience with panel boards, transformers and distribution equipment. State journeymen or master's license a plus. Possess working knowledge of NEC electrical codes in addition to
NFPA 70-NEC. PREFERRED SKILLS
Medium voltage and electronics experience
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
