Job Description

The automotive lab assistant assists automotive faculty in coordinating day-to-day classroom labs and to ensure safety. Assists automotive faculty in coordinating day-to-day classroom labs and to ensure safety. Prepare and maintain lab equipment and tools for student use, ensuring everything is in proper working order and adheres to safety standards. Organize and assist in the inventory of supplies. Support instructors during lab sessions by demonstrating techniques, helping students operate equipment, and providing guidance on safe practices. Monitor lab activities to ensure students adhere to safety procedures, properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Automotive experience. Ability to pass a background check, have valid U.S Driver's license and good driving record. The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear Ability to lift up to 30lbs Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
