Quality Inspector Location:
Davenport, IA, 52802 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in Davenport, IA. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications through thorough inspection and testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools to verify product specifications. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality data. Identify and report non-conforming products and work with production teams to resolve quality issues. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence of defects. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and inspection processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality assurance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred. Previous experience in quality inspection or a related manufacturing environment is a plus. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Familiarity with quality standards such as
ISO 9001
