Now Hiring:
Quality Technician Job Description As a Quality Technician, you will perform product audits on the production floor, support specification reviews, and communicate quality requirements. You will conduct and document test procedures, build and install test fixtures and prototypes, and use measurement tools to verify parts. This role requires collaboration with Quality Engineers, Operations, and OPD teams to resolve issues, participate in root cause investigations, and maintain quality documentation and standard work instructions. Responsibilities Perform product audits on the production floor. Support specification reviews and communicate quality requirements. Conduct and document test procedures, including air, water, and structural testing. Build and install test fixtures and prototypes. Use measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify parts. Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Operations, and OPD teams to resolve issues. Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions. Maintain quality documentation and standard work instructions. Assist with calibration and care of quality/test equipment. Attend daily shift debriefs and contribute to continuous improvement activities. Essential Skills Experience in quality and manufacturing. Strong computer skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through. Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical degree or related education preferred. Comfortable working on the production floor with tool familiarity (training provided). Interest in long-term growth within Quality. Work Environment The Quality Technician works in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, production-floor environment. This role involves hands-on diagnosing issues, supporting operators, and ensuring quality standards are met. The environment is busy, physical, structured, and problem-solving-heavy, with solid training and growth potential. Roles are available on first and second shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dubuque, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
