Job Description

Job Summary A quality assurance technician ensures that products meet specified standards of quality and performance. This role involves testing, inspecting, and monitoring processes to identify defects and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform various tests on products and materials to assess quality and functionality. Record and analyze test results, maintaining accurate documentation for compliance and reporting. Detect defects or inconsistencies in products and processes, recommending corrective actions. Work closely with production teams to implement quality control measures and improve processes. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, participating in audits as necessary. Perform calibration on various gauges used throughout GOMACO and document results in the QA Database. Evaluate products returned to GOMACO through the MRA process and record the results.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools. Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams. Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude. 2 years' experience in a Quality Department role or 5 years' experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
