Job Description
Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of structural wind towers in North America. We focus on excellence, offering premier value to our customers. Arcosa Wind Towers is searching for a Quality Assurance Inspector . As a Quality Inspector you will provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. You'll also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.

Newton, IA What you'll do: Perform inspection of complex production systems or finished product Complete inspection records and reports May inspect incoming materials or plate, outgoing materials or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process Maintain attendance within acceptable standards What you'll need: 1 year of manufacturing experience Technical Skills Proficiently utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment Understand defects and determine acceptance status High School Diploma or GED is preferred Read, write and speak proficiently in English Desire to learn Team player Flexible Attention to detail Dependable and punctual Work ethic Organized Decision-making Conflict & stress Management Time management Ability to cross-train Strong communication skillsWorking Conditions:
Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds. This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plantSafety Activities:
Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required Know and follow all safety rules and procedures. Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
