Job Description

Optimae LifeServices is hiring a full-time Regional Quality Assurance Specialist for the Southern Prairie Region with office in Ottumwa. The Regional Quality Assurance Specialist conducts regularly scheduled reviews of service related forms and documentation to assure compliance with Administrative Code definitions and Agency adopted Best Practices. The RQAS collects accurate data from the reviews and surveys and compiles reports for the Regional Leadership Team, the Services Improvement Team and the Core Team. The RQAS develops and conducts training and mentoring programs to address issues identified by the reviews and data.
Duties:
Conducts regularly scheduled detailed reviews of individual charts and services documentation using Discovery Tools developed by the Services Improvement Team. Assists in creating regional and corporate surveys. Develops Regional Quality Assurance Bi-Annual Report and other reports as requested. Develops Plans of Correction (in conjunction with the Regional Leadership Team) based upon discovered data. Monitors the effectiveness of the implemented Plans of Correction. Provides an effective conduit between initiation of services and outcomes of services. Provides initial service provision training to Service Coordinators. Develops and provides on-going assessment and training to Service Coordinators based on survey benchmarks. Provides training on Service Documentation. Ability to summarize data to develop effective services.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience or an associate degree and four (4) years of experience in provision is required. Oversight or coordination of services for persons with mental disabilities is required. Basic computer skills are required.
