at Cygnus Inc in Ponderay, Idaho, United States Job Description About the Job Job description The employee will be working in the Pre-Process Inspection Area performing a variety of inspection and testing duties to insure that shipped products fulfill all customer specification and quality requirements.
Primary Operational Duties and Responsibilities :
Ability to read, understand and learn customer specifications, Cygnus operating procedures, and work order instructions to certify part Quality Inspection and acceptance. Perform physical and visual inspection of raw materials, fabricated parts, and equipment in accordance with work order, specifications, operating procedures, and other documentation. Complete inspection task and required paper work accurately, in a timely manner. Perform and document all inspection results, ensuring all planned quality requirements are met and when necessary, troubleshoot and initiate nonconformance reports and disposition all nonconforming items. Follow scheduled priority list to ensure parts are shipped on time.
Physical Requirements:
May sit or stand for extended periods at a time at a desk, bench, or table. May also be required to work at a computer terminal or near moving mechanical parts. Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required. The employee must pass a basic eye exam and demonstrate color perception (ability to perform color comparisons). Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds occasionally.
