Quality Control Inspector ClearStaff South Aurora, IL Job Details Temp-to-hire | Full-time $17 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Spanish Basic math English Shop math Manufacturing facility experience Attention to detail Quality control Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Specialist focused on Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) to join our manufacturing team. This role is integral to ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in quality assurance processes, measurement techniques, and compliance standards within a manufacturing environment. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality products to our customers worldwide.
Shift:
Mon-Fri 6:00am-3:00pm ( Potential Overtime )
Pay:
$17.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Perform density checks on all starch and thickener products being packaged Perform and review finished product label verification including product change overs Perform weight control audits on all finished products packaged on the pack floor Review product change overs Review label changes against formulation sheets Collect retention samples, display samples, and other samples by request Prepare and perform TPC swabs on lines that have been wet washed the previous day Prepare and collect PCT samples for all lines with auto-samplers Perform quality check on products that are being ran on the line (ex: leakers and integrity of product) Verify that 2D scanner is working on lines that are assigned to review Special Projects All other duties as directed by management Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, preferably involving precision measurement in machining or assembly processes. Basic math skills necessary for analysis of measurement data and dimensional assessments. Excellent attention to detail alongside strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and problem-solving. Ability to speak both English and Spanish Demonstrate work experience in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Initiative to work independently This position offers an opportunity for motivated professionals committed to maintaining the highest standards of product safety and quality.
