Quality Technician Location:
Champaign, IL Join a clean, highly automated manufacturing facility where quality comes first! Responsibilities Perform quality inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing process. Work alongside the chemistry lab to verify formulations and ensure recipes are mixed in the correct proportions. Measure product density and verify products meet EPA registration requirements (within required tolerances). Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Monitor production processes and identify quality concerns before products move forward. Understand and operate PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment. Collaborate with production, quality, and laboratory teams to resolve quality issues. Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department. Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing quality or laboratory environment preferred. Manufacturing or production experience required. Quality assurance or quality control experience preferred. Experience operating or working around automated manufacturing equipment. Understanding of PLC-controlled equipment is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus. Machine operation experience is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures. Comfortable working with measurements, documentation, and quality standards. Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or another science-related field is welcomed. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply, even without prior industry experience.
