This position performs inspections throughout the production process, verifies compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, and works closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured products and components. Verify that products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and company quality standards. Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records and reports. Identify non-conforming materials or products and ensure proper documentation and disposition. Work with production teams to investigate and resolve quality issues. Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when quality issues arise. Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and applicable industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and ensure measuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and manufacturing processes. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred. 2-5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for recording inspection data and preparing reports. Preferred Qualifications Experience in sheet metal, HVAC, or fabrication manufacturing environments. Familiarity with quality systems or ISO standards. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs when required. Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and shop conditions.
