Job Description
Communicate with operators as to quality requirements. Assist operators on changeovers, start-ups quality confirmations. Support production by being a QA presence at production lines. Interact with operators and helpers to ensure standard work is done consistently. Provide support for lab operations. Select and test products at various production stages. Perform destructive and non-destructive testing. Collaborate with management and engineering on standards. Follow safety and procedural guidelines, strictly. Record and evaluate test data, noting deviations. Input data into analysis systems. Support Tier One Problem Solving utilizing QC Tools (i.e., fishbone, 5 Why, etc.). Serve as a quality contact for operators and helpers. Conduct and document production audits. Maintain a quality presence in production areas. Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned. Support daily Tier 1 meetings to department as needed. Works closely with Quality and Engineering departments to resolve quality issues, processing issues or organizing experimental trials. Assists with COPQ tasking and training. Support Training of new hires on critical to Quality in-process checks, Quality related procedures and gaging. Support all Internal and External ISO Audits Support, Audit, and monitor calibration system.
