Document Specialist, Regulatory:

St. Charles Trading is looking for a detail oriented and motivated individual to fill a Document Specialist role. This role would report to the Document Specialist Lead and be an integral part of the Quality Assurance team. The Document Specialist will manage supplier documents and fulfill requests for customers and other quality duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all documents are accurate, current, and compliant with applicable food safety regulations and internal policies. Work directly with suppliers to source required materials. Work directly with customers to provide requested documents. Approve new suppliers and ingredients by reviewing and verifying specifications and other supplier reports. Report and document discrepancies in a clear and timely manner. Work with supplier portals to upload documents. Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to ensure customer needs are met. Support audits by organizing required documentation. Perform quality inspections and report findings. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Strong communication skills. Balance priorities. Detail-oriented with a solid work ethic. Ability to take direction well. Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong sense of urgency and ownership of tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
