Job Duties Inspects all incoming inserts. Maintains receiving inspection and vendor DMR files. Collects, reports, and maintains nonconforming material records from both internal and external sources. Facilitates the training of individuals doing outside work or rework/sorting of nonconforming product. Schedules outside work or rework activities to meet priorities based on the customer's requirements. Stages materials for outside work or rework as required. Monitors completed reworked parts. Effectively controls all non-conforming inserts and raw materials. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Experience Requirements 5 years of experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Must possess basic math, reading, writing, word-processing, and spreadsheet skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred. Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial. Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial. Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Incoming Inspector. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift. Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
