Quality Control Specialist Location:

Job Type and Duration:
Direct Hire Pay range: 60-70/k We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Control individual to join our team. Main functions will be to inspect, test, and evaluate machinery and components throughout the build process ensuring they meet company, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a technical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Machinery
  • Inspect and evaluate machinery to safety and regulatory standards
  • Write inspection logs and generate defect reporting
  • Maintain manufacturing checklist modifying as needed
  • Creation and inspection of any corrective action listings
  • Machine tear-down approval and post-painting corrective action lists
  • Post install reviews with service and engineering teams
  • Maintain a customer training program and creation of customer request lists
  • Assist sales team with forming parts for customers
  • Assist engineering team with research and development projects
  • Maintain machine manual templates and create manuals for each new machine
  • Manage and maintain knowledge regarding CE regulatory documentation
  • Schedule third-party machine inspections for
CSA / UL
/ International certifications
  • Provide part number documentation and mapping via ERP system for reference
  • Report findings and collaborate with engineering and production teams to fix errors Projects and Training
  • Identify, notate, communicate manufacturing and engineering improvement opportunities
  • Partake in committees such as Research & Development, Safety, etc.
  • Learn to run machine and provide on-site customer training and service support
  • 10% travel for process training at customer facilities
  • Continually educate workers on safety protocols and quality expectations Qualifications and Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or similar role
  • Strong technical background preferably with industrial machinery
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-driven with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to roll up the sleeves on occasion and be hands-on with equipment
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, quality assurance, industrial technology or related field a plus
  • Six sigma, ASQ, and other certifications a plus
  • Thermoforming and OEM inspection experience a plus
