This QC Inspector Technician role is responsible for ensuring raw materials, components, and finished products meet quality standards and specifications. This position plays a key role in supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) through inspection, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Duties :

Perform inspections on raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators. Operate and maintain CMM equipment, including programming and reporting using MCOSMOS and/or CALYPSO. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T to evaluate product conformance. Conduct first article inspections, in-process audits, and non-conformance reporting. Ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation in accordance with QMS requirements. Develop and maintain programs for vision systems and CMM equipment.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred. ASQ certification (CQI, CQT, or equivalent) preferred. 5+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing, including leadership or senior-level inspection experience. Strong experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools. Hands-on experience with CMMs and related software (MCOSMOS and/or CALYPSO). Advanced ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100. Familiarity with AS9102 and Net-Inspect is a plus.
