Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our team during the 2nd shift, from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. In this vital role, you will ensure that all manufactured products meet strict quality standards by performing thorough inspections and audits. Your keen eye for detail and strong understanding of quality systems will help maintain our commitment to excellence, compliance with industry regulations, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where quality is at the forefront of every process. Duties Operate Virtek flat blank scanner by running existing ICS programs and saving results Nice if able to create ICS programs Familiar with powder paint inspections that include: gloss readings, impact testing, cross-hatch test, paint thickness checker, use of spectrophotometer Perform receiving inspection on product from outside services Perform processing of non-conforming material - both identification of product - containment, as well as documenting inside of Global Shop (ERP) Comfortably work and transact in ERP systems, such as Global Shop Assist in performing ISO internal audits, particular product and process audit if needed Perform inspections on metal fabrication equipment such as laser, turret, grinding, spot-welding, welding, hardware, press brake and assemblies: Set-Ups, In-Process, Incoming, Final. Other duties as assigned Min. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in quality inspection in a sheet metal fabrication or a related field. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Advanced knowledge of measuring tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
