Job Description

Your tasks Position Summary Evaluate, document, and present rejection data vs HydraForce specification to control nonconforming product, in all processes, to determine disposition of shipment lot. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Overall coordination and tracking of in-house MRB material
  • Interface with various departments daily to provide status of open MRB items and establish plan of action to close
  • Ensure all MRB items are dispositioned in a timely manner
  • Facilitate MRB meetings
  • Process dispositioned material according to HydraForce processes
  • Identify and recommend improvements to MRB process and update documentation
  • Complete MRB documentation to provide data traceability and inventory accuracy
  • Maintain accurate account of quantity and rejection reporting of material undergoing the MRB process
  • Delegate and follow up on actions to closure for MRB items
  • Organize and complete reporting of status of MRB items
  • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by supervisor Your profile Knowledge/ Experience
  • High school diploma, Associate's Degree preferred or experience in lieu thereof
  • 1 to 2 years' experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment or other inspection experience
  • Ability to follow inspection processes and plans
  • Previous experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Minitab experience, preferred
  • Experience with technical specifications and blueprints
  • Work independently with little supervision
  • Works well in team settings
  • Good organizational skills
  • Exhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and process
  • Clear communication Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
  • Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
  • Lift and move a minimum of 20 pounds without assistance
  • Agility to work with small parts
  • The ability to see details at close range
  • Repetitive hand/arm use Work Environment
  • 20% Travel between HydraForce Plants
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high
