Quality Inspector We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a strong experience in quality inspection and gage calibration. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and perform quality inspections using various gages and inspection tools. A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection or as a quality technician is required. This is for first shift. Responsibilities + Interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings, and perform quality inspections using gages and inspection tools. + Update inspection reports and conduct inspections, including visual assessments and measurements. + Create and perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), as needed. + Participate in drafting PFMEAs and Control Plans, if applicable. + Handle incoming inspections, measure parts, and document non-conformities. Essential Skills + At least 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection or as a Quality Technician. + Proficiency with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. + Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics. + Experience with quality documentation, including PPAPs and FAIRs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in electronics or circuit board manufacturing is highly desired. + Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00
