Job Description

Join the Yetter Manufacturing Team! Yetter Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Macomb, Illinois. If you are detail oriented, enjoy problem solving, and are passionate about quality and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do
  • Perform receiving, first article, in-process, and final quality inspections
  • Monitor processes during the manufacturing cycle to ensure standards are met
  • Document non-conforming products and executes quality protocol
  • Provides quality support to production operations with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, and identifying non-compliant products and materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to verify product quality
  • Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous quality experience preferred
  • Ability to use measuring tools and interpret blueprints
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, mechanical aptitude, and strong mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening Role Specifics
First Shift:
7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday plus required overtime as scheduled
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying seasonal temperatures, noise, machinery, and other typical factory conditions.
  • Physically active position requiring standing for the duration of the shift, repetitive work, and regular lifting up to 50lbs.
