Quality Control/Quality Assurance

The purpose of the Quality Assurance Department is to help ensure quality, safe product are distributed utilizing food safety guideline in conjunction with State and federal requirement. The QA tech will fill an essential role in the monitoring of the safety and quality programs. The successful QA tech will have a scientific base of knowledge, a tenacious character, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company. 12:00am - 8:30 am - Cold environment

Minimum Job Requirement:

Work standing or walking for most working shift. Lift 50 lbs unassisted Good computer skill is a must. Knowledge of food safety principles, FDA , GMP's. Verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards. Ability to operators testing equipment. High level of organization skills, including writing and verbal communication, creative problem solving, answer e -mail and commitment to company goal. Research skills. Ability to speak to small group and conduct training. 2 years degreed or certification on food science, or experience working with food. Maintain accurate and organized records of QA activities. Report to QA supervisor. Good attendance. Ability to work independent.
