The technician performs standardized tests, assists with root cause analysis, and helps develop validation plans. They also guide others on test procedures and results. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain lab equipment for materials and paint testing. Assist in creating test plans and managing lab workflows. Prepare test specimens and execute tests per documented procedures. Maintain lab systems, prioritize urgent tasks, and support continuous improvement. Data entry and communicate results and procedures via SharePoint, Excel, Teams, and email. Support failure analysis and ensure compliance with quality standards. Creates lab operations test schedules, SOP's and other daily protocols of similar nature. Skills & Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to manage data, format documents, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with equipment.
Preferred:
Associate's degree or higher in a STEM/engineering tech field or active pursuit of such a degree.
