Essential skills and experience Strong team player Commitment to company values Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to effectively communicate and work together with customers Positive attitude with public, customers, and other employees Ability to work mandatory overtime Ability to lift 50 lbs Computer Skills Position Responsibilities Weighing grain trucks, grading corn, and producing accurate scale tickets. Accurately producing weight tickets for co-products leaving the plant. Spare time is spent performing housekeeping duties in and around the scale house area and helping the Material Handlers where needed. All other duties as assigned. Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Some areas have been designated areas to use hearing protection. Hard hat and safety glasses are required in designated areas.
