Climco Coils Company is looking for a Manufacturing Lab Assistant to support our Quality team and help maintain the standards our customers rely on. This position is a great opportunity for someone with technical education, manufacturing experience, or a quality background who enjoys hands-on work, testing, measurement, and problem-solving. You'll work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams while developing valuable skills in manufacturing quality and continuous improvement. Why Join Climco? Responsibilities include:
Inspect incoming materials and finished products for quality and specification compliance Perform product testing and record results accurately Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing devices Assist with first article inspections and process evaluations Maintain calibration records and support calibration activities Document nonconformances and assist with corrective action follow-up Compile quality data and assist with quality reporting Support internal audits and quality system requirements Work with production teams to identify opportunities for quality improvement Assist with continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility What We're Looking For Associate degree, technical certificate, or coursework in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Quality, Electronics, or a related field preferred Manufacturing, inspection, testing, laboratory, or quality experience preferred Experience using measuring and inspection equipment is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with
ISO 9001, IATF
16949, or other quality systems Experience interpreting drawings, specifications, or work instructions ASQ certification or related technical certifications Don't meet every qualification?
