Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to perform first article inspections, program Faro Arm , and ensure parts meet both customer and internal quality standards using PolyWorks software and other precisiion measuring tools. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform first article inspections(FAI/ISIR) on new and existing parts, as well as parts undergoing process or print changes. Program and operate the Faro Arm using PolyWorks software (or similar equipment and software) Inspect parts using Faro Arm, calipers, height guages, thread guages, etc. Prepare detailed inspection reports for PPAP submissions Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality-related issues. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong print reading skills GD&T Knowledge Experience programming and operating the Faro Arm with PolyWorks software (or similar equipment and software) Proficiency in Excel, PDF & other Word software Knowledge of Fabrication processes (laser cutting, press brakes, welding, paint, and assemblies)
Qualifications:
Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Gage calibration experience is a plus
Preferred:
Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
