Job Description

Primary Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose of the Quality Technician is to inspect, measure, and verify components in various stages of assembly to ensure adherence to all associated blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Visually inspect, measure and verify components in various stages of assembly, meet all associated blueprints, sketches and specifications using various measurement equipment as necessary. Crosstrain in all areas of Quality - Final/IN process, Overview, Receiving, and Air Flow. Assist in training of lower level inspectors. Project Completion and Accuracy Quality Metrics Customer Satisfaction Ratings Assure part marking/identification on parts and/or routers are accurate as specified on routers and sketches. Identify and move defective product per "non-conforming material control" procedure. Assure tools/gages used are calibrated and in working order. Perform operations/tasks as specified on routers, notifying supervisor when operation not meeting requirements. Assist in the creation of Standardized Work Instructions to document operation task and requirements. Assist in interal OAP audits.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain housekeeping at and around department. Apply 6s principles to all areas of the plant. Wear all personal protective equipment necessary to task and area. Follow all quality systems and AeroGen-TEK operating procedures as applies to certifications, duties, and training matrix. Follow all AeroGen-TEK rules and regulations, including safety rules. Perform any other duties deemed necessary by management.
