Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following reflects essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessary.

Inspect components to determine if they are compliant to specificationsDocument inspection results as requiredSubmit Non-Conformance reports for goods failing inspectionInterpret detailed blueprints, work orders and engineering specificationsCalibrate and perform additional studies on gauges dailyNotify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying these problemsDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for productsRecord inspection data using established programs and softwareFollow all clean-up and housekeeping proceduresComply with all safety and sanitation regulationsComplete any other tasks as assigned by supervisor QualificationsQualifications and ExperienceA high school graduate or GED2 yrs. or more in a manufacturing environmentAbility to follow inspection processes and plansPrevious experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges preferredPrevious experience with advanced quality control equipment such as: digital height gauges, surface roughness gauges, coordinate measurement systems, etc. preferredProficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and OutlookSome experience with technical specifications and blueprints.

Lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds without assistanceWork EnvironmentSome of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to highProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Additional InformationThe hourly range for the position is $20.00 - $23.00/hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
