Quality Assurance Technician Location:
Rochelle, Illinois (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking detail-oriented professionals to support our team in conducting analytical testing and maintaining quality standards in a dynamic industrial environment. Our team values strong communication, a commitment to safety, and reliable execution to ensure that all products consistently meet stringent quality specifications.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine testing on inbound, in-process, and finished products, ensuring timely and accurate results using computer-based lab equipment and bench-top chemistry techniques. Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including HPLC, IC, GC, Cell Counter, IR, NIR, and titrators, as well as perform routine maintenance on water treatment systems. Collaborate with plant leadership to address product quality challenges and participate in continuous improvement and training opportunities focused on product safety and quality knowledge. Promote and adhere to a strong safety culture by maintaining a clean work area, identifying and communicating workplace hazards, and following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Required:
1+ years of experience in IT Quality Management, Quality Management, or Quality Assurance. High School diploma or GED required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Willingness to remove piercings and jewelry during shifts to comply with feed safety and good manufacturing policies.
